The West Monroe City Court's net assets increased some 9 percent during the 2010 fiscal year, according to an audit of the court's finances.

The audit for West Monroe City Court was released by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Office Wednesday, Dec. 15.

The audit was conducted by Cameron, Hines and Hart, a professional accounting corporation located in West Monroe.

According to the audit, the court's assets exceeded liabilities by $526,609. Total liabilities for the 2010 fiscal year were $12,388.
