Dardenne entertains chamber crowd
Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne entertained the western Ouachita Parish business community Monday with unique songs, tales and reasons "Why Louisiana Ain't Mississippi."
Dardenne was the featured speaker at the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce's annual business meeting, held Monday at the West Monroe Convention Center.
During his presentation, Dardenne outlined years of history and music, mixing humor, politics and religion together to weave a portrait of Louisiana.
Dardenne also took a few minutes to outline the priorities the lieutenant governor's office will pursue under his direction.
