Ouachita snaps losing streak
The Ouachita Lions (3-6) and Lady Lions (4-7) will be back in action this week as the boys play in a tournament at Carroll and the girls play a three-game set in the Ruston tournament.
On the boys side, the Lions snapped a two-game losing streak with a 44-28 victory over the Wossman Wildcats last Friday.
Forward Ryan Gix and point guard Cedric Treadway led the way for the Lions.
The game was a defensive battle from the beginning with Ouachita forcing more turnovers than Wossman and being able to hit a few clutch free throws to down the Wildcats.
