State titles up for grabs
Home sweet 'Dome.
The trip to New Orleans for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association State Farm Prep Classic on the second weekend of December has become common place for West Monroe High School and its supporters.
Once again this season, another area team joins the Rebels in the Crescent City to attempt to bring back more championship gold just as West Monroe and Neville did in 2009.
This season, the Ouachita Christian School Eagles (11-3) join West Monroe (14-0) for the journey. For the Eagles, it is their first LHSAA state championship game appearance on the football field since 2000.
