Assessed property value tops $1B again
For the second consecutive year, total assessed property value for Ouachita Parish exceeded $1 billion.
That's according to Ouachita Parish Tax Assessor Rich Bailey, who filed the 2010 parish tax roll with the Louisiana Tax Commission on Nov. 3.
The total assessed value, including homestead exemption value, increased by $25,875,897 during 2010.
