Longtime member Jack White retires from School Board
Jack White ended 20 years of service as a member of the Ouachita Parish School Board Tuesday with hugs, tears and stories from numerous local residents whose lives he helped shape.
Tuesday was White's last School Board meeting.
In 1990, White was elected to serve a four-year term on the Ouachita Parish School Board. He has been elected to the School Board four times since 1990. He has served as president of the board on numerous occasions.
