New Richwood school to open in January
Ouachita Parish school system officials expect classroom equipment and furniture will be moved Monday into the new Richwood Middle School.
Meanwhile, school system officials will meet next week to determine when the new Sterlington Elementary School can open.
Ken Slusher, safety and construction coordinator at Ouachita Parish Schools, said everything is in order for students to move into the new Richwood Middle School for the start of the spring semester when students return from Christmas break.
