Rebs stay perfect; Title game up next
The West Monroe Rebels (14-0) advanced once again to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 5A football championship game with a 34-3 victory at Westgate last Friday.
The Rebels will meet the Acadiana Wreckin' Rams (9-5) for the championship Saturday at 7 p.m.
This marks the third season in a row and the 13th out of the past 18 seasons that West Monroe has played in the state finals at the Superdome in New Orleans.
