2-3A set for another banner year
The Richwood Rams (4-2) and Carroll Bulldogs (2-1) are once again set to be near the top of district 2-3A this season.
The district mates met in the Class 3A semi-finals of the state tournament in Lafayette last season with Carroll coming away with a 70-63 win before losing to Vidalia in the championship contest. Richwood is looking poised to make another series run at the state title after getting off to a 4-2 start this season.
Richwood began the year on an offensive tear including scoring over 90 points twice this season, but a 38-35 loss to Sulphur and a 73-64 loss to Washington-Marion (6-0) at the LaGrange tournament last week put the Rams up against some tough defensive tests.
