2-1A teams work toward consistency
District 2-1A will be an interesting district for local basketball fans to keep an eye on this year as two local schools, Ouachita Christian and St. Frederick, will be in the thick of the race.
OCS is off to a rough 0-3 start under first-year head coach Tom Taylor. The Eagles will not be at full strength until they host their own Holiday Classic at OCS next Wednesday.
At that time, football players who play both sports will be ending their football seasons in the Superdome playing for a state title. Those players will begin practice with the basketball squad on Monday.
