WMPD prepares for reaccreditation
The West Monroe Police Department will host a public comment session on Monday, Dec. 6, as part of its process to gain re-accreditation.
The event will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at West Monroe City Hall.
The West Monroe Police Department initially received accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies on Nov. 20, 1993. It was the first law enforcement accredited agency in the state.
