Food Bank nears deadline for holiday drive

This time of year is typically referred to as the "giving season," and the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana can attest to that as donations have continued to pour in each day.
Food Bank director Richard King said the generosity of the northeast Louisiana community never ceases to amaze him.

People, young and old, from all walks of life, want to donate financially or provide canned goods to help those who are less fortunate.

"Everything is going well right now," King said. "The community this time of year always responds fantastically."
