Cansler speaks to Cultura
Vickie Adams Cansler gave a most interesting program for Cultura Book Club's November meeting in the home of Jean Halsell.
Cansler is the daughter of the late Jo Adams, who was a charter member of Cultura. Cansler, her husband Larry, and another couple who are close friends, spent two weeks in Crete, Greece and Turkey in early September.
The members felt like they were on a walking tour via the television screen. Cansler's commentary was enlightening for members as she gave the history and background information about the slides.
