WMHS travels to Westgate Tigers
The West Monroe Rebels (13-0) will be on the road for the first time during the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 5A football playoffs as they travel to Westgate High School Friday.
Westgate is located in New Iberia. West Monroe reached the semi-final round for the third straight season following last week's 28-11 win over the Jesuit Blue Jays.
Quarterback Paul Turner ran for 93 yards and two scores while running back Tyler Cain picked up 82 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries for the Rebels.
