NLEP makes pitch for region at N.Y. meetings

Representatives with the North Louisiana Economic Partnership along with other local leaders marketed north Louisiana to top executives, site selection consultants and the business media during a two-day visit to New York last week.

NLEP is a non-profit, regional economic development marketing organization. NLEP represented 14 north Louisiana parishes including Ouachita, Morehouse, Union, Lincoln, Jackson, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster.

The trip was organized by the Louisiana Committee of 100 (C100), a nonprofit organization supported by business leaders from across Louisiana dedicated to the state's long-term economic growth.
