P&S wins top national honor

For the second consecutive year, P&S Surgical Hospital has been honored in Washington, D.C. with the nationally recognized Summit Award for 2010, one of only 36 hospitals in the United States to receive the award.

The award goes to facilities that sustain the highest level of patient satisfaction – in the 95th percentile or above – for three or more consecutive years. It is presented by Press Ganey & Associates, a company that partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities nationwide to measure and improve the quality of care. That process allows facilities to benchmark their results against peer organizations.
