WOHS hosts drama workshop
The West Ouachita drama department, under the direction of Karen Pittman, recently hosted their first Drama Workshop.
La Tech Performing Arts Faculty and student assistants journeyed to West Ouachita High School on Thursday, Oct. 7, to conduct a drama workshop for parish students.
More than 175 West Ouachita and West Monroe Drama, Speech and Choir students participated all day in classes of dance, hand-to-hand combat, sword fighting, stage makeup, auditioning, directing, stage managing, special effects, light and set design and stage safety classes led by Louisiana Tech instructors and grad students.
