WMHS takes on Barbe in Round Two
The No. 4-seeded West Monroe Rebels (11-0) will be at home Friday for the second round of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 5A playoffs when they host the No.13 Barbe Buccaneers of Lake Charles.
West Monroe is coming off of a 42-6 victory over the No 29 Chalmette Owls last week at Rebel Stadium.
West Monroe got on the scoreboard early in the first quarter on a 66-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Paul Turner to tight end Ivan Manning.
