Inking their intentions

Four student athletes who play spring sports for several area schools were rewarded for their hard work last week when they signed National Letters of Intent.

At West Monroe High School, swimmer Matt Wilson signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Missouri State University on a swimming scholarship.
West Monroe Lady Rebels pitcher Savannah Dollar also signed a scholarship. Dollar will take her softball talent to Ruston next year to play for the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters.

Wilson is the first swimmer from WMHS to sign for a college scholarship and it is a distinction that Wilson does not take for granted.
