Lions welcome Purple Knights
The No. 7 Ouachita Lions (10-1) will host the No. 10 St. Augustine Purple Knights Friday at "The Lion's Den" during second-round action in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 5A playoffs.
The Lions are coming off of a 44-13 victory over fellow district 1-5A foe C.E. Byrd High School.
The Lions ran for 332 yards and passed for another 101 yards for 433 yards of total offense.
