River Oaks gets rematch
The River Oaks Mustangs (11-1) will be back in action in the third round of the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools Class AA playoffs this Friday when they travel to tack on the Brookhaven Academy Cougars (11-1).
The two teams have a storied playoff history between one another.
Brookhaven is the defending Class AA state champions and is the team that ended the River Oaks run through the 2009 playoffs with a semifinal victory over the Mustangs last season, 17-7.
