Wossman falls in first round
The Wossman Wildcats (5-6) saw their 2010 football season come to an end Friday following a valiant effort against the top-seed in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A playoffs, the Karr Cougars.
Wossman fought from beginning to end only to see Karr come out with a 22-14 victory in New Orleans.
Wossman twice took the lead in the first half against the top team in the 4A bracket, but a late touchdown drive sealed the Wildcats' fate in the end.
