East Feliciana upends Sterlington in playoffs

The Sterlington Panthers (5-6) ended their season following a 42-13 loss to East Feliciana High School in the first round of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 2A playoffs.

The Panthers, the No. 29-seed in the playoffs, went toe-to-toe with the No. 4 team in the state but never could get their offense firing on all cylinders.

"We played against a really good football team," Sterlington head coach Mike Collins said. "I felt like our offense just never got going. Even when East Feliciana shot themselves in the foot a few times, we could not get our offense going."
