One western Ouachita Parish resident believes there is a safety issue along Price Drive by Riser School, and he wants the Ouachita Parish Police Jury to look into it.

Luke Hamaker, who lives on Price Drive in western Ouachita Parish, recently lobbied the Police Jury to change Price Drive into a one-way street.

"There are cars parked on both sides of the road with traffic coming both ways, and it's not really safe for our children," Hamaker said. "I would like for us to make Price Drive into a one-way street. That way, everybody could come in the same way."
