Boy Scouts to pick up food donations Saturday
The Louisiana Purchase Council, Boy Scouts of America, on Saturday, Nov. 13, will pick up the "Scouting for Food Drive" bags that were delivered to homes this past Saturday.
Scouts throughout northeast and central Louisiana will collect food during the drive to give to the food bank to help needy citizens.
Residents are asked to fill the bags with canned goods only, and place them in clear view on their front porches or entry ways by 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, when Boy Scouts will pick them up.
