Parade applications sought
Applications are now available for the annual Monroe -West Monroe Christmas Parade, a community event produced by the Kiwanis Club of West Monroe and sponsored by Ouachita Independent Bank.
The parade will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. The parade will originate in downtown West Monroe and proceed to Monroe. This year's theme is "A Starry Christmas."
New this year, prizes will be awarded in the categories of Best in Show, Parade Theme, Originality and Workmanship.
