Neville begins title defense
The Neville Tigers (5-5) will begin their Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A football championship defense on the road in the 2010 playoffs this Friday.
Neville will be the No. 21-seed in the playoffs and battle No. 12 Jennings (8-2). Neville ended the regular season with a thrilling 29-14 win over Wossman last week.
Quarterback John Diarse completed 4-of-7 pass attempts for 44 yards and also ran for 80 yards in the game.
