New ULM president: 'I don't plan to fail'
Dr. Nick Bruno knows now is not the perfect time to take over a university in light of anticipated budget cuts to higher education in the next year.
However, he said he didn't pursue the president's position at the University of Louisiana-Monroe to fail.
Bruno was selected as ULM's eighth president on Oct. 22. Bruno expects to officially take over the reins of the university on Nov. 8.
