Christmas project aims to make holiays happy
Each year, hundreds of children throughout the region have a happier Christmas thanks to the efforts of volunteers and donations to The Center for Children and Families' Christmas project.
The center and hundreds of volunteers are currently busy sending out Christmas wish lists of children in the 11-parish region.
People who sponsor a child will provide gifts from the child's wish list to The Center for Children and Families. Those gifts will then be delivered to foster parents and guardians of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
