The West Ouachita Senior Center and the Ouachita Parish Health Unit will host a "Senior Citizen Flu Shot Day" at the West Monroe Convention Center, 901 Ridge Avenue in West Monroe on Friday, Nov. 5th from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Shots for the Ouachita Parish disabled and senior citizens (55+) are no charge with Medicare Part B.

If you do not have Medicare, there is a requested $10 administration fee. Tetanus vaccines are also available upon request. Pre-registration consent forms for the West Monroe Convention Center "Senior Citizen Flu Shot Day" are available at the Senior Center, 1800 North 7th Street in West Monroe.

Completion of pre-registration forms is encouraged to expedite your required appointment by calling the WOSC at 324-1280.

Walk-ins should follow the alphabetical appointments schedules, by last name: A-H between 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; I-N between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.; and O-Z between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
