NLEP endorses Amendment No. 2
The North Louisiana Economic Partnership has voiced its support of Constitutional Amendment No. 2, which will appear on a state-wide ballot in the Nov. 2 election.
Constitutional Amendment No. 2 calls for a redistribution of more of the existing state severance tax on minerals to the parish governments in which the taxes originated.
NLEP board members voted to support the amendment during a recent meeting.
