Martha Jane Anderson: Good movies, food and football
Dianne and Mike Cage have the harvest invitations in the mail honoring our friends Carol and Bob Cudd who will be in town for a short visit from Taos, New Mexico. The invitations are water color with topiary orange pumpkins. Good food and good drinks every time with Dianne!
Save the date of Nov. 28 to hear our New Orleans' activist of the year, Anne McDonald Milling, formerly of Monroe and now New Orleans. Anne will discuss the oil spill and the British Petroleum tragedy as well as give her update on the restoration of New Orleans. The event will be held at 11 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church and the public is cordially invited by the Garden Study League.

Let's see how we fare with the Preakness/Alabama and the Belmont/Arkansas! Cam Newton appears to be a quarterback in a league of his own. The LSU defense could not stop Cam and his play makes him first in the ranking for the Heisman trophy. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
