J. S. Clark Magnet School in Monroe recently announced the Character Counts students for the month of October.

Students earning the honor are: Courtney James, Ty'Tiyana Head, and Jacob McCarty (prekindergarten); Ramiyah Bell, Kenneth Lindsey, and BreElle Mitchell (kindergarten); Rashad Davis, J'Veon Atkins, and Azhani Hollins (first grade); Jakyrin Williams, Ryia Williams, and Zaniya Reitzell (second grade); Dyllin Nash, Antwon Williams, and Xavier Holden (third grade); Christopher Norman, Jalen Page, and Andrew Judd (fourth grade); Chiemeka Onyemechara and Destiny Gilmore (fifth grade); Zarrion Stewart, Keldrick Ward, and Sharlese Turner (sixth grade).

Honor roll

In related news, Zachary Gaines, a third-grader at J.S. Clark Magnet School in Monroe earned a place on the school's honor roll for the first grading period of the year.

The name was inadvertently left off a list the school submitted for publication. Congratulations Zachary.
