PAWS hold monthly adoption event
PAWS of NE Louisiana will hold a pet adoption event from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Petco in Monroe.
The dogs and cats available for adoption are from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter and can be seen online at www.parishpets. petfinder.com. The adoption fee is $60 for dogs and $50 for cats. The fee includes a spay/neuter certificate and 7-in-1 bordetella vaccinations.
Anyone who comes to Petco during the adoption event can get one free pet ID tag and can purchase additional tags for only $2 each. PAWS provides the tags as part of their Tag Your Pet program which aids lost pets in finding their way home.
