Library closes out special exhibit

The Ouachita Parish Public Library recently hosted a traveling exhibit entitled, "Pride and Passion: The African American Baseball Experience, A Traveling Exhibition."

This exhibit was organized by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and the American Library Association Public Programs Office.

It was made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The exhibit went on display Sept. 13, and remained until Oct. 22.
