Why do you go to church? Why should anyone go to church?
These are questions posed by many agnostics when they are trying to keep Christians from the fellowship of believers.
There is an old story that has circulated through my email on many occasions and it deals with the question of why people go to church.
In a letter to the editor of a local newspaper a churchgoer once wrote that he had attended church for many years and heard over 3,000 sermons and could not remember a single one of them.
