Sterlington preps for Ferriday
The Sterlington Panthers (4-4, 2-1 in district 2-2A) will be back on the road Friday against the Ferriday Trojans (5-3, 3-0). Sterlington will be coming into the game on a two-game winning streak after wins over Lake Providence, 49-32, and this past week over the Mangham Dragons, 29-28.
Sterlington was able to capitalize on three Mangham turnovers and convert on an early two-point conversion run that helped lead the Panthers to victory.
"I think we took advantage of a couple of their mistakes," Sterlington head coach Mike Collins said. "It really came down to that."
