Benefit raffle tickets for West Monroe High School's band director Robbie Freeman will be sold at the Rebels' home game Friday, Oct. 22.

The raffle tickets are being sold to raise money for medical expenses associated with a kidney transplant.

Diane Guillot, a family friend, said Freeman first needs to have gastric bypass surgery in order to lose weight quickly enough to be placed on the donor list for a new kidney. Even though the surgery is considered a life or death matter, she said Freeman's insurance will not pay for the gastric bypass.
