Jindal re-appoints Calhoun to board Gov. Bobby Jindal re-appointed Ouachita Parish police juror Mack Calhoun to the Sparta Groundwater Conservation District's governing board.
The Sparta Groundwater Conservation District serves to study and survey the groundwater resources in the district regarding issues such as conservation, land surface subsidence and groundwater quality degradation. The board advises the commissioner of conservation based on their findings.
