Martha Jane Anderson: ULM hopefuls, weddings, white chili
The three ULM presidential hopefuls include: Dr. Peter Fos, University of Texas at Arlington; Dr. Nick Bruno, formerly of ULM and now V. P. for Business and Finance for the University of Louisiana System; and Dr. Thomas Moore from Winthrop University in Rock Hill South Carolina.
We attended the community sessions recently with Dr. Fos and his lovely wife, Lori. He views the students as his responsibility, needing excellent advising and in degree programs which they can complete that qualify them for jobs.

He said that his priorities would be: "money, money, and money" and that he knows how to tell ULM's story. He also said that we need to work on the retention rates, graduation rates and to convince the community that giving money to the university will bring meaning to their lives. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
