Tennis tourney this weekend benefits St. Francis patients

The Tenth Annual Mayme P. Scott Memorial Tennis Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 16-17 at the Monroe Athletic Club, 3801 Chauvin Lane, Monroe.

Divisions will include men's, women's and mixed doubles with four flights in each division — 6.0 and below, 7.0 and below, 8.0 and below and open.

There also will be a junior division for beginner, intermediate or advanced players.

Entry fees are $35 for one event and $45 for two events.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the St. Francis Auxiliary and will be used to sponsor needs for patients using infant's and children's services at St. Francis Medical Center.
