Cultura hosts Tea Party speaker
A very informative meeting was held in the home of Mary Reed when members of the Cultura Book Club gathered for their October meeting.
Nell Bradley, an organizer of the Tea Party for Northeast Louisiana, was the guest speaker.
Bradley stressed the importance of understanding the amendments that would be voted on in the upcoming election.
A period of questions by the members of Cultures, will Bradley leading the discussion, followed.
Members were invited to attend the next Tea Party rally, to be held from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 16, at the West Monroe Convention Center.
