Carroll picks up road victory

The Carroll Bulldogs (5-1, 1-0 district 2-3A) will attempt to start a new winning streak when they host the Madison Parish Jaguars (1-4, 0-1) this Friday at the "Dog Pound."

The game was originally scheduled to take place at Jaguar Stadium in Tallulah but a brawl at the end of the Madison versus Wossman game on Sept. 3 led to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association suspending some Madison Parish players and stripping the school of hosting any more football games in 2010.

Carroll got back on track last week with a 24-7 win over the Caldwell Parish High School Spartans (0-6, 0-1).
