Penning Association brings national finals to Ike West Monroe will host the United States Team Penning Association's national finals next month during an eight-day event that's expected to bring more than a thousand people into Ouachita Parish as well as provide a major boost to the local economy. The event will be held from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.
Scott Bruscato with the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau, said West Monroe and Ike Hamilton Expo Center scored a major win for the area by landing the event.

"This will be the first time they've come here, so it really is a coup for us to get them here in West Monroe," Bruscato said. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
