Twin City Ballet opens with 'Talk of the Town' Saturday Special to the Citizen
In the Twin Cities, the diversity and quality of our artistic individuals is only enhanced when they are combined with others engaged in the same intensity. Such is true of the performers in the Twin City Ballet Company, gracefully led by legendary Artistic Director, Linda Lavender Ford.
Once again, the anticipated opening performance by the Twin City Ballet incorporates numerous elements for all to enjoy. The "Talk of the Town," slated for Saturday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at ULM's Brown Auditorium, is sure to delight all with swing and lyrical, contemporary to classical as well as jazz and tap. In collaboration with the University of Louisiana-Monroe's School of Visual and Performing Arts, the presentation will include professional dancers Mikhail Ilyin from American Ballet Theatre and Margaret Severin-Hansen with Carolina Ballet.
Ilyin will be offering an intensive Master Class Saturday morning for Twin City Ballet dancers as well as ULM VAPA students. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
