Warhawks battle Owls

The University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (1-3) will be returning home to Malone Stadium for a 6 p.m. contest against the Flordia Atlantic Owls this Saturday.

The game marks the first Sun Belt Conference home game for the Warhawks after beginning SBC play with a 34-21 loss at Arkansas State two weeks ago.

The Warhawks are coming off a brutal 52-3 loss at No. 10 Auburn University last week in which their defense surrendered 505 yards of total offense. Auburn quarterback Cameron Newton completed 14-of-19 pass attempts for 245 yards and three touchdowns in the contest before being pulled out in the second half.
