St. Amant touts experience as an educator

Retired teacher and former coach Lou St. Amant says he wants to do everything he can to ensure classroom teachers have all the tools they need to better educate their students.

If elected to the Ouachita Parish School Board in the Saturday, Oct. 2, election, St. Amant says he will devote all of his attention to the schools, students and teachers and work to keep Ouachita Parish Schools at the top of the list of school districts in the state.

St. Amant will face current school board member Susan Spence for the District G seat on Saturday.
