WM officers score well at NRA competition

The West Monroe Police Department's competitive shooting team recently returned from a week of competing at the NRA's National Police Shooting Championship where the team won a total of 48 awards.

The four-member team consisted of officers Chris Place, Zach Stephens, John Allen and Detective Matt Graves.

The team competed in numerous shooting events alongside teams from all across the United States and international teams from Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Australia, Argentina and Venezuela.
