Carroll keeps winning

The Carroll Bulldogs are off to a 4-0 start to the 2010 football season following a 12-7 victory over the defending Class 4A champion Neville Tigers last week. The win was the first victory for Carroll over Neville since 1977.

Carroll now hosts former district rival Franklin Parish (4-0) in a matchup of undefeated contenders at "The Dog Pound" this Friday.

Against Neville last week, quarterback Jamond Collins had a hand in both touchdown plays for Carroll as he connected with wide out Tim Smith for a 60-yard passing score early in the third quarter and then ran in from seven yards out late in the game to give Carroll the lead they would not give up.
