Costly improvements to two Ouachita Parish roads prompted one police juror to ask U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu for some help.

The police jury recently learned improvements to Caples Road in western Ouachita Parish and Harmon Johnson Road in southwestern Ouachita Parish would cost roughly $10 million.

Police juror Pat Moore, who represents District F where Harmon Johnson Road is located, said the roads are dangerous.
